Winter is here! Our eServices team has a lot of new “changes in the air” to share with you. eServices continue to offer a complete solution to streamlining the entire referral and consult processes. Below is a summary of how these eServices are constantly expanding with new sites and features.
Offered through the eHealth Centre of Excellence, HEAL invites clinicians to participate in the creation of innovative digital health solutions that support more efficient and effective workflows.
Evidence2Practice Ontario is working to develop standardized, evidence-based digital tools and supports that improve clinician and patient experience, clinical outcomes, and care coordination.
The eCE Automates team works with clinicians to identify current pain points in their workflows, and design innovative automated solutions or “bots” that act as virtual assistants to create more seamless processes that reduce administrative burden.
Available through the Ontario eServices Program, eReferral simplifies the referral process by enhancing communication between primary care clinicians and specialists/organizations and enables quick and secure referrals to be sent and received through an electronic platform.
Offered as part of the Ontario eServices Program, eConsult is a secure web-based tool that allows physicians or nurse practitioners timely access to specialist advice for all patients and often eliminates the need for an in-person specialist visit.
